Project Purpose :

The main objective of the project is to prepare the risk management strategy against climate change that helps the decision makers in Antalya. In this context, activities are planned to increase the public awareness and to determine the measures to be taken to protect our tourism, fisheries, biological diversity, historical and natural heritages

Activities/ Outputs :

1. A short survey will be conducted before the project implementation to understand the current situation.
2. A literature review will be done through reviewing current research on climate change impacts and fact sheets will be prepared.
3. A map of physical vulnerability of coastal area will be prepared.
4. A workshop on the effect of climate change will be conducted and risk assessment will be made.
5. A marine survey will be conducted and trainings will be delivered to local drivers.
6. Reports, booklet and leaflets on risk assessment will be prepared and published.
7. A painting competition and a festival on Climate Change and Our Seas will be organized.
8. A high level Mediterranean Roundtable meeting will be conducted.
9. The museum seminar series on Climate Change and will be conducted.
10. Children booklets will be prepared, short films for spot advertisement will be published and website and social media will be on service.
11. A short survey will be conducted after the project implementation to understand the current situation.
